Welcome to our members space.

People wishing to become members of Sosuishiryu Australia - Epping Dojo should complete the Membership Application and have a copy of, have read and agreed to abide by, our code of conduct.

New starters or beginers
You should wear suitable clothes for excersize (tracksuit pants, draw-string pants, a Gi or a gee*) and bring the following with you on your first night;
   * a completed Membership Application (Juniors/minors require parent/guardian assistance to complete)
   * funds to cover Epping RSL Youth Club subscription fee (Seniors $20, Juniors/minors $10, Family $35)
   * two passport sized photos to complete a Sosuishiryu Australia Membership application card, as will be provided to you on the night. You will be asked to fillout this card on the night. Please put your name on the back of the two photos. One will be attached to the mebership application card and one will be stuck into your new 'white card' or grading record card.
   * funds to cover Sosuishiryu Australia Membership fee (Seniors $60, Juniors/minors $30, Family $100)
   * funds to cover your training preference as per the Training Fee schedule
   * have a copy, have read and agree to abide by our code of conduct
A mouth guard is suggested and can be acquired in the first few weeks.
New enrollments can be made in the first four weeks of term.

* New starters for Judo should have a top covering the elbows and able to sustain some grapling. An old footy top or sloppy-joe which, if ripped, would not be a major problem. old is good... New starters for Karate should wear something similar, except there is less grappling and a lighter wieght top would be ok.

Payment options - alternatives to cash
Cheques for RSLYC subscription and training fees should be made payable to Epping RSL Youth Club.
Cheques for Sosuishiryu membership subscriptions should be made payable to Sosuishiryu Australia.
No EFTPOS. BSB-direct may become available to current members soon. CreditCard capability for the RSLYC was under investigation but would have been subject to 5% handling surcharge and alternatives are being investigated.

Current financial members web space pages and Instructor space are taking shape, but still under development. A space to order Gee and protective equipment at club prices, place orders for badges, specific curriculum, syllabus and publications is also under development.
New for 2008 - An online Syllabus for Judo is in "beta test" in the members pages.
Members should use their Australian Sosuishiryu number as the username(from the inside cover of the 'white card' or grading record card), and the recipt number for term-1 instruction fees and RSLYC subs, as a password.
