Club News Q1, January 2008

Welcome to 2008. Term 1 will start on Thursday January 31st 2008, as per our events page.

Please note a change to the fee schedule from Term-4 2007 to help cope with rent increases for hall hire from Hornsby Council. No more term fees, only prepaid lesson blocks, link here or under the members section. We have moved to the lesson cards and the will hole-punched at the beginning of class.

New lesson cards will be created the week after the payment recipt is issued. The lesson cards have the recipt number, so one must preceed the other.

Please see the members section for the new-starters kit and also for returning students who didnt put one in last term. We are asking everyone to return a membership application annualy and ensure that it is logged into the register.
So, being the first Quater/term, please bring a completed copy with you for your first lesson.

All students of Epping dojo should subscribe to the members mailing list here. The list is used to update members about club activities and functions.

* Please Note: Placement in Ju-jutsu classes are offered to existing students who have demonstrated control and proficient knowledge in both Judo and Karate. Recognised Prior Learning may be available by demonstration in Judo and/or Karate, by prior arrangement only. Otherwise the minimum grade of San-kyu (green-belt) in both Judo and Karate is a prerequisite for entry into the Ju-jutsu classes.

Junior Judo classes are for the 7 to 12 year olds, Senior Judo is for 12 years onward.

Junior Karate classes are for the 8 to 12 year olds, seniors from 12 onward.
